Trained and certified Alexandria Professional™ Practitioners massage our Advanced Sugaring Paste onto the skin by hand at a lukewarm temperature. Studio Alexandria LA President Lina Kennedy is the world’s foremost authority on hair removal and hair removal techniques, treatments and therapies.  She is also the leading practitioner of Advanced Body Sugaring ™, an ancient art passed down from the Middle East.

It was in 1991 when a bedridden Kennedy first heard of a revolutionary new method of painless hair removal called Alexandria Body Sugaring™.  An entrepreneur with a keen sense of the feminine mystique, she saw the future of hygienic and green beauty products long before her counterparts and sought out to educate and immerse herself in the world of sugar paste.

Kennedy’s inspiration to turn a tragic car accident into a springboard for success came when watching a local TV show that featured Alexandria Body Sugaring ™.  She was more than intrigued by a technique to extract hair safely in the direction of its natural growth without any negative side effects or discomfort.

Her energy and tenacity forced Kennedy out of bed, still in excruciating pain, to attend a meeting with the owners of Alexandria Body Sugaring™.  She walked away from the meeting with the Southern Ontario distribution rights to Alexandria Body Sugaring ™, the professional salon line of body sugaring products. 

Kennedy soon became the line’s leading practitioner worldwide, educating others in the secret ancient art of pain-free and long lasting hair extraction.  The product took off immediately as salons began to see the benefits of body sugaring.

Dedicated To Research, Education and Client Service
Kennedy acquired the exclusive international rights to the Brand in 1995.  A year later, she purchased manufacturing rights to Alexandria Body Sugaring™ for professional services and salon retail sales.  Since then, she has not looked back, becoming sole owner and the name and brains behind Alexandria Professional™.  Dedicated to research, education and client service, Kennedy has turned the fledging company into a mega-force beauty and wellness Brand with the opening of Studio Alexandria LA, a showcase for permanent hair removal.
